Jacquelyn VanBrunt, Ed. D

Dr Jackie VanBrunt has over 25 years of leadership experience in higher education at both public and private institutions, with additional experience as a Child Protective Services caseworker and as a counselor for high-risk students in the middle school setting. In Dr. VanBrunt’s roles as an administrative director and as a dean in multiple student service areas, she was driven by a strong commitment to the values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Jackie empowers those whom she leads to collaborate on creative problem solving while cultivating self-awareness, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Dr. VanBrunt’s areas of special interest include cultural assessment and transformational change, appreciative inquiry, strategic planning, as well as student and employee success and retention. Jackie’s credentials include a B.A. in Psychology, an M.S. in Education and Counseling, and an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership.
Deborah Beall, NCC

Deborah Beall has 27 years of experience in higher education, with over ten years of prior experience as a therapist providing services for at-risk children and their families. Deborah’s experience as a counselor, a full-time faculty member, and an academic dean has given her insight into the dynamics that limit people’s achievement. Among her many roles Deborah developed a strong skillset in using data and assessment to drive curriculum development and pedagogical innovation. Deborah is a strong student advocate, dedicated to using brain science and the science of learning to ensure equitable access to education with a strong commitment to cultivating a sense of belonging.
Furthermore, she is inspired by helping people remove obstacles to their growth and capitalize on opportunities to achieve success. Deborah is a Nationally Certified Counselor whose credentials include a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology.
